Ooooh, thanks, Dave! This part is the beginning of a long section, which I may split into three chapters, or maintain as one long chapter, ultimately. If you liked this one, I think you’ll definitely appreciate the next two…! 😉

Isn’t it? 🙂 I have done the same thing for two romance novels and am working on the third. It’s so much fun to blog the first draft! So what if everything changes in the following drafts. The point is getting early feedback. It’s priceless!

I agree completely, Dave. Feedback is one of the most important facets of the drafting process. I was a bit unsure about blogging a book in the first instance, mainly because I wasn’t sure I’d keep the momentum going, but it’s one the best decisions I’ve made about writing this book.

If you ever want me to beta read for you beyond the blogging, give me a shout! 🙂

Wow, you’re better than good, Ina! Thank you!! I may hit you up on that and DM you on Twitter. If you ever wanna check out my most recent writing on my blog, please do. Would love to know what you think. 🙂

Yes, do! That would be great! And I’m way behind in my blog reading (comes from trying to write three books simultaneously while planning three more…glutton for punishment – erm, to coin a phrase!!). But I have every intention of sitting down to have a blog fest – and yours is one I definitely want to read! I’m very happy to let you know what I think. 🙂

Lol, hmm, that sounds like quite the self-inflicted punishment. I can hardly write two at a time because I’m afraid the main characters will appear too closely related to each other. Also, I like to get into the mindset of the character I write and it’s difficult to hop back and forth between POV’s. Don’t give yourself too much stress. Enjoy the process! 🙂 And with erotica.. yes, enjoy it.

It’s not as bad as it sounds, just very time-consuming. There’s the one you’re being kind enough to read, then a short story collection that I really want ready for September. And another which is being co-authored (and when my co-author reads this, which he undoubtedly will, you owe me a chapter, while I rewrite my last one! Spank!!).

I have to admit that writing erotica has been one of most enjoyable types of writing I’ve ever done. It was suggested to me, and I am forever indebted to the person who did so. It’s not just the writing that allows me to talk about matters that concern me, as well as being immense fun, but the other writers I have met (in person or virtually) in the genre are amazing, as are the readers! I really do mean that! 🙂

I, for one, am very happy to have met you here. I love blogging for that reason, too. It’s more fun to socialize about writing while writing. I don’t like feeling isolated in the writing cave with no one to read my work. What fun is there in that? 🙂

Thank you! The feeling is mutual!

I completely agree. It could be very easy to shut oneself off entirely as a writer – and I know this can be necessary during the actual writing process – but it doesn’t have to be the dominant feature of one’s writing life. Writers can be social creatures, and frequently are, given the opportunity – the moment that the opportunity rises to discuss writing, I, for one, am there like a shot! And I have made some wonderful friends thorough writing with whom I communicate regularly, albeit remotely for most of the time.

As for readers, absolutely – the fun as writers, surely, comes from giving someone else pleasure by enabling them to read our work.

Pleased you like it! I have to say that the master in this story is a real pain in the backside! Poor woman doesn’t know if she’s coming or…coming! The next couple of instalments are rather interesting…! 😉

I dream of my husband doing something so outrageous. I just wish he had the imagination to take command like that. To order me to do such pervy things. The vegetable rack just wouldn’t be the same again.
Where do you get such inspiration from?

Why, thank you, kind sir! Much appreciated! You never know – I might even get Part 9 posted soon (two exciting projects, but they’re taking almost all my time for a few more weeks).
